Comfort plays a big role in how long we keep a pair of socks and how many times they are worn. Bamboo is a relatively new sock material sprouting up everywhere in the clothing world and we are totally on trend for this growth.

We love our socks here at CareGifting and we know our Bamboo socks are the BEST! Really, we can say that and if you have received a pair of these socks you know exactly what we are talking about.
We like to keep it a close secret among friends because these socks are so divine if everyone knew about
them we would sell out and then would have to wait for more…and no one like’s to wait.

Our bamboo socks are made from viscose from bamboo, they are made right here in America, Certified Organically Grown Soft, absorbent, breathable and super comfortable, to keep your feet happy. Soft on you, easy on the earth!

CareGifting gift basket vs the other guys…

What’s the difference between a CareGifting Collection and a typical get well gift basket or flowers? Traditional get well gift baskets are almost solely focused on salty food with loads of carbs and sugar. People who are healing often can’t tolerate the carbohydrates, salt and artificial ingredients that are usually in these gift baskets. Flowers, also a traditional gift, aren’t proactive — the patient can’t actually use them to help the healing process. They can also set off allergic reactions. CareGifting is dedicated to providing a unique twist on the gift basket by offering gift bags and products that recipients can actually use to assist in comfort and healing such as:

• Natural balm for dry lips that often result from pain medications, chemotherapy and dehydration
• Water bottle with non-skid gripping band and built-in straw, to assist with hydration
• A journal and pen to take along to doctor’s appointments to take notes or track medication schedules
• Bamboo, soy and other innovative natural textiles that are pesticide-free

The products are pure, natural and when possible, organic. The collections are mindful of allopathic and naturopathic healing protocols, and food items are selected to be sensitive to the recipient’s dietary needs.

Happy sleepingt

A Squish pillow for here a Squish pillow for there

One of our most popular items is the CareGifting Squish Pillow. We have received so many stories from customers about how they used their microbead pillows — here are a few:

- A customer who had a double mastectomy called to tell us how her two microbead pillows were a lifesaver after her surgery. She used them to help cushion her chest for more comfortable sleeping and resting.

-Another customer who had a mastectomy used the squish pillow in the car under her seat belt. The pillows are not over-filled like other microbead pillows so they have a little give to them and that makes them so versatile and comfortable.

- Several customers have ordered their squish pillows before hip replacement surgery so that they would be ready to help cushion underneath their hips after surgery

- One customer who is a nurse, wrote to tell us how great these microbead pillows are for helping reduce bed sores and pressure ulcers. She ordered several for her husband who was confined to bed while healing after surgery.

- A mom sent her daughter a pillow for her new college dorm room, for a little piece of home and something soft to hold onto at night in a new surrounding.

A perfect size for home or travel, “squish” pillows are a comforting and practical gift. A favorite of kids and adults alike.

A caring gift of listening on Veterans Day-Rememberance Day

It’s a cold and windy Veterans Day here at CareGifting. We are remembering and celebrating all those amazing Veterans who have helped our country and other countries to stay safe and remain strong. My grandfather was a veteran from WWII and he always had the most interesting stories to tell about being in the throws of battle. I feel the best gift to give a Veteran of any age is a listening ear. They have been threw so much and seen things that we could never imagine. Today is a day when they might like to talk about those times, good and bad. So today, I ask each of you who are reading this to take the time to listen to a Veteran. Re-live the moments that they hold so close in their memories and hearts. Cherish these brave people who have given so much of themselves for their country.
